[Arboretum/Gwangju] Hwadam Forest Fall foliage

Review

Language :

Hello, I'm Min-gael.

As soon as the Hwadam Forest reservation was opened last September,

we fought for an hour and made a reservation for November 04.

At that time, the site kept getting 504 Gateway Time-out and blocked,

so it was very difficult to move on to the next screen, but I hope it will improve next year.

Anyway, the end of October is the peak of autumn leaves,

so I expected a lot of people and cars to move,

so I made a reservation a week later.

However, it rained heavily the day before the visit, so I lowered my expectations a little.

Fortunately, it didn't rain on the day of my visit.

Hwadam Forest was not allowed to enter if it was late for the reservation, so I arrived an hour early (9 a.m.).

The parking lot was already full above.

Fortunately, I parked not far down.

When I go over to the top of the parking lot, there is a way up to Hwadam Forest.

the way up

There are two ways to go up, one is evenly trimmed,

so it's a good way to carry wheelchairs and strollers,

and the other is a pretty winding road.

Buckwheat Grain 5,500 won

There is a pine cafe and a healing villa on the left side of the Hwadamsu entrance.

Healingville opened at 9:30 so I couldn't get in and bought buckwheat grain powder at a pine cafe.

It tastes a little softer and lighter than regular grain powder, so even the groom, who didn't like grain powder, liked it.

the right side of the entrance

Outside food is not allowed in Hwadam Forest, but food sold at convenience stores and cafes next to the entrance is allowed.

Admission was possible 30 minutes before the reservation time.

If you enter at this time, you will be given a seed cookie voucher, and you can see what it is at the end of the article.

If you go straight down the road, you will find the Natural Ecology Museum.

I could see various turtles, fish, and pretty fish tanks.

There is a small sand playground between the monorail and the natural ecology hall.

There were red-colored trees and animal models, so adults looked busy taking pictures.

moss garden

There is a moss garden next to the monorail line.

If you don't take the monorail, you can follow the path here in the moss garden and go up straight.

And there's a certain time in the moss garden when the nebulizer runs,

and while sitting on a bench waiting for monorail reservation time,

it's that time and I'm able to see a great spectacle.

The spray was quite heavy, so I had to get off the bench to avoid the water.

View from the car behind the monorail

Those who board the monorail can line up 5 minutes before the reservation time.

If you want to see the autumn leaves, I recommend the car in the back.

At this time, the boarding time overlapped with the people of the commentary program, and the commentator asked passengers who did not participate in the program to get in the car in front of them, so there was a brief scuffle.

Looking at it, even if you get into the front car and the back car, you can do the program with wireless earphones

There were quite a few people who were angry because they didn't want to let me in the back car.

It takes two hours to get around the Hwadam Forest.

We're not used to driving long distances yet

I circulated the monorail and looked around.

Wonang Pond

Hwadam Forest is impossible to go backwards, so I was satisfied with the view I saw on the monorail,

and I finished the tour of Hwadam Forest with Wonang Pond.

You can use a seed cookie voucher in front of the unmanned ticket machine when you leave the Hwadam Forest.

I was looking forward to some snacks, but I got a sweet basil.

It's a bit unfortunate, but the groom, who had fun growing plants, loved it.

souvenir magnet

It's a magnet that I bought at a souvenir shop before I left Hwadam Forest.

Those who complete the stamp tour can receive a magnet suitable for the season they visit as a souvenir.

We paid 3,000 won to buy it due to our poor physical strength.

Next time, I'm thinking of coming when the autumn leaves are at their peak.
